Hi everyone. This is new work in progress, still in design stage. Client is still searching for the right direction in design, so it was a bit more testing and balancing materials, colors, lighting solutions... I am more kin of simpler solution which is presented in the first 2 images, but without any details. Latter on this took a different coarse and something of the mood is lost but there are more details, hence images may appear more realistic...
Lighting is based on HDRI for environment and artificial light as in the design solution.
I used light mixer to achieve fine tuning and day/night versions
Anyway, comments and critiques are welcome...

Fantastic work! Can you tell a bit about your postprocessing and camera settings? Did you used some LUT file or...?

Well, I found the solution for studio setup (as for other things simpler than for vray) in this forum topic...
You can download the scene and analize how things are done...

I hope this helps!

Hi there. Ok, I will read the full story more carefully, but as I understand this is your own design, right? So I will briefly reflect on architectural concept, which I find very good, simple and clean, maybe not most original one, but no need to force something just to make statement. I think you managed to reach your goal for sure with design, both the relation of house with setting and nature, with climate and the house as a setting for human life and activities works very well and it is visible in the images. Now, as for the visualzation, this is for sure top notch, as now I look through the hi-res images and see how you approached every little detail with care, all with high quality materials, textures, every junction of materials is solved properly, both of main materials, concrete and wood look awesome in all of their variations... Same goes for the environment and lighting... So, congratulations on great work, it is a pleasure to watch it!

Thank you very much for you comment!
Agree with you that it is not the most original concept :) My idea was to design the architecture to make my visualisation project more unique, choosing to challenge myself with things I've haven't done before (My first attempt to a snow, environment fog and hair and fur) as well as being able to tell a story of my own. I wasn't trying to reinvent the wheel in any aspect, just an exercise to improve my archvis skills and a chance to play architecture ;)

Once again I have to compiment every aspect of those images! I had no intention to look down on your desing in any way, not only that it is very good, but also it is aditional step forward in archviz, since for those purposes we usualy take some of the already built projects, eventualy puting them into different mood than original photos show...

Impressive work man! I love how you made cliffs, watter, trees... It work particularly well in 2nd image, along with the villa. Girl is also realy nice, but maybe to hot so it draws too much attention for archviz images...

Realy great work! Hard to tell which part I love more... Greenery is great... Ivy on the left, but also the thin, fine one on top... But also, I love your texturing/shader work. The frontal white stucco wall is fantastic, but no less are the concrete walls, smooth one on the left and rough on the right side. Also the ground and stone walls in background, and so on... It is also cool how you balanced all those different materials to work in harmony...
And I should aslo mention details, accents on table in close-up view...
