Not sure what this means, they both work in tandem. So if it renders and outputs then you need to restart the 3dsmax session to begin the next one on that workstation.

When I tested I first used workstation mode. Then closed slave. Then removed workstation mode and start slave.

Thanks, I'll see if I can reproduce the same thing with 3ds Max 2019. If so, then I will try contacting the Deadline team.

Sorry, I just realized that we can't use 3ds Max 2019 any more. :( The oldest one I can try is 2021.
