Title: what's the best way to work with Pantone colors in Corona?
Post by: Basshunter on 2022-02-09, 21:54:55
My client sent me some pantone color references to be used in our project. What's the best way to get accurate representations of this colors in render?

I personally just use Pantone to hex code or rgb converters.

This approximation is fine in my opinion, while it may not be 100% colour accurate it is close enough. Since there is so much minutiae in what affects the final color output of a rendered image from the amount of reflection, ambient light, color grading, exposure, etc, and topped it all with image color profiles.

Pantone color swatches are really only meant to be used in process color printing to make sure your final output is accurate.

I was going to post the same question. Is there any definitive answer?
