My latest personal project. First attempt at rendering an architectural night scene. Corona for rendering, Megascans assets for nature creation.

Looks good but the heat exhaust distortion is really pixelated and distracts from the overall image. Also the plane in the back needs more reflection. Overall a nice render.

Thanks for the feedback all. I changed the carbon a bit and tweaked the brakedisc glow. Also tried to make the car paint a bit better.

Thanks, I tried to make the brakedisk a bit glowing due to the heating from driving. Same as the exhaust pipes.

A lighting, shading and composition study using this awesome Mclaren Senna model created by Thomas F
https://www.behance.net/gallery/71074435/FREE-2018-McLaren-Senna-3D-Model
I used Corona for rendering, a few Megascans assets and the gravel with Quixel Mixer.
I'm still learning to make the car shader more realistic but I am at a point where I don't know what to tweak further.
Anyways if you have some pointers or comments please let me know.

Very nice, did the corona scatter at this scale kill your system or are you using texturing for the background fields?

Well first of all your works does look great but I can see what you mean. I to find it really hard to bridge te gap from realistic to photo realistic. Most of the time for me it comes down to the really small details that make it more believable. Little dust spots, scratchmarks etc.
Like Maru said, if you give a specific example it's easier to give advise.

Serious? Wow, wouldn't thought of that. I'll keep this in mind if I ever have to create a similar thing. Thanks.

Cool, how did you add the tiny dust particles that are visible in the close up renders?

Wow, very cool atmosphere and details. Only thing that I don't like are the snowflakes that are falling.
Maybe a bit motion blur will add realism.
