Definitely!!! Especially after Covid and the side effects of the Ukrainian war.
Im not sure if Chas or that licensing company is to blame but these are circumstances I never faced with another company; not matter if 3d 2d stuff or audio companies.

So Im totally annoyed with chaos. The changed the payment company and im facing the 4th!!! Issue with this.
First was a non-working license for several days 3 month ago. Then the next one a month ago where I got an email telling me, I would loose my license when I don't pay. Payment plan was working fine... The next one 7 days ago, where the license stopped working in the night; I had to finish a job until the morning. Only solution was to buy another license (I went with the yearly this time) as I couldn't extend the existing. In the morning the money for the monthly license was enlisted.
I wrote to the support and no answer for 3 days. I asked for a refund of the monthly payment invoice but no action. Today the next thing; another payment is enlisted; oh and I always paid without tax as it's a business expense; nevertheless suddenly there is tax on my invoices. This really annoys me big time (and this is nicely said)!!
You can't double the price of something and go along with such a bad support.
As a freelancer you have crucial dates your work must be finished and not being able to finish a job can quickly costs thousands when a client don't get his work on point. What's going on there? If I wouldn't rely heavily on Corona as the last 7 years projects are done with it, Id quickly leave the boat. Worst experience I ever had with a software company and this is in no way professional.

thank you for your replys. Now it's working again; it seems something went wrong in the system and didn't recognized that my payments went the normal way. It was assumed I canceled my contract which I didn't. Good it works again but hopefully this won't happen in the future again, as it can be job endangering if you can't hold your deadlines. At least for this time the client calmed down in the end.

Thank you Tom. Sadly there is no one getting back for me and my client is threatens me with a penalty now. this is just bad... I wish the old times back where you could just use a serial.

Hi, I got this problem the first time. C4d 2023 - m2 MacBook Pro with Ventura. these are the things why I hate subscriptions... need to finish a job for a client and now this. Does anybody have a solution? best, jens

so, I contacted the support and they could help out with a patch. If sb. experience this problem they can probably help! They told you should simply contact them.

Yes I installed a new plugin, then an old version. Then an old version of corona. In the end it worked when using the rendersettings which I used in version 7. I don’t know if that makes sense but it works. Hopefully 26 and corona 9 will work soon.

It might be, that when using render settings which I created with Corona 7 are working; this would explain why it crashes, when I start a new scene with the V8 settings.

I have no idea why this is happening. When I import a render setting from a file which worked before 4 hours it works fine; starting a new file from scratch, as soon as I hit the rebus - quick check button, when corona is enabled, cinema crashes. I replicated the exact render settings from the working file but it crashes. C4d R23 - corona 8. By the way, when will corona 8 work with r26? I mean in a way that I can use it with rebus - so far I get the message, that the rebus plugin don't work.

Hi TomG - I know you dont have control over this - but thought you may have an inside track - so I'll ask anyway... 

Do you know how quickly renderfarms will start supporting V8? Do they normally wait for the first hotfix or start straightaway?

I'd love to start using V8 - it has some great new tools - but I'm working on a project that will need renderfarm support in the next two weeks.

I tried a job on rebus this moment and it came out the right way; so maybe try a small pixel version of an image of your job and see if it works! Probably when you don't use new features; it works.

I am searching for the photographic exposure setting in v8. when I load old scenes the cam menu has it; choosing a new camera misses it. does anything has changed here?

ok, I found it in the edit menu in tone mapping. why isn't it there from startup?

Hi,

i am trying to layer the AO in the latest built. one channel work but after putting this in the layer shader and layering an additional AO layer the model renders black. anyone else?
