why not use already completed plugin, where everything is thought out and everything works? unbelievable
Hi, can you please tell us in which case the crash occurs? Isn't it a case where you have something like 250+ lights/scatters in the scene? If so, this issue is currently being addressed.

RC1 Corona Lights Lister
1. - It doesn't show Corona Sun, suppose it should
2. - Is it possible to group instanced lights? There are so long lists of lights I do have now, but most of those lights are instances. If they would be grouped in Lister, they would take just few lines there
Hi, Corona Sun isn't intended to be shown in the light lister right now, we will be adding that in the future.
Ad grouping instanced lights - currently being worked on :)

Hi, are you able to reproduce this? I couldn't manage to reproduce this bug.

Hi, currently, it is not possible to rotate the sun below the horizon as the simulation model doesn't support it. We might actually change that in the future so that the colour of the sun below the horizon would be the same as on the horizon, but no promises there.

Hi, as this issue is still open, I have to ask @alexyork - are you sure the camera in the scene you've provided was created in 1.7.2 version? Because when I open it, the camera there is from version 1.7.3.
Didn't you merge the camera there somehow?

The files with the errors are saved by a slave as a result of a backburner network job.
It didn't happen a lot, so i did not check if it was always the same slave that gave the error.
For the moment I am using TGA instead of CXR and had no more errors. (I don't dare to use CXR overnight anymore)
I don't have the exact copy of the scene that caused the error of the file i uploaded, this file has been saved over by a more recent. I can provide this recent one if you like?
Any scene where the problem is reproducible would be highly appreciated.
Also, some more detailed description of the process which leads to the problem would greatly help.

Thanks for the report, how exactly did you create the file? Did you save it from VFB? If so, was the rendering still running while you were saving the file?
Also is it possible to share the scene with us using the private uploader? https://corona-renderer.com/upload

Similar error here. Rendering with 3dsMax region, suddenly one node throws this error with addition to:  Accumulating EXR from slave '192.168.1.52' failed with error: Got Iex::BaseExc: Error reading pixel data from image file "{memory}". Data decompression (zlib) failed..


Said node accumulated passes before just fine, and seems to also continue just fine.

I uploaded the "failed .exr" with private uploader linking to this thread.

Thanks for the file! Do you still have the scene in which you encounter this error?
Also, does this happen everytime you render it using DR or rather randomly?
