I'm flumuxed, probably to long a stint at the screen.
I'm trying to shadowcatch reflection and shadows with a shadowcatcher material, but on the same plane I would like to bounce reflections but not render the object bouncing the reflection. My reflection plane keeps messing with my shadowcatcher.
IE. water backplate jpg compositing in a rendered sphere above the water, shadowcatch reflection of the sphere and shadows on a plane with similar displacement to mimic the surface of water on the backplate jpg, how to get caustic like reflections bouncing up at the sphere without rendering something or interfering with shadowcatcher object.
