[C4D] General Discussion / light mix and after effects

Hello community,

I`ve just started playing around with light mix and now I am wondering how to use the light mix passes in after effects to sort of animate a dimmed light in a room. It would be cool if some can shed some light on it or point me to a tutorial if there are any.

Cheers

Hello community,

I would like to render an animation of a product and later composite it with real footage in AfterEffects. Therefor I will need the background transparent but with shadows so the product will blend perfectly with the real footage. Is there a way to do that with the actual corona for Cinema 4D (Mac)?

[C4D] General Discussion / thin film/ camera lens shader

Hi corona professionals,

I try to render a camera at the moment but got stuck at the camera lens shader a bit. I'm after the rainbow reflection look but haven't found out how to recreate it in corona for cinema. Any tipps on how to do that?

Hi corona professionals,

I'm looking for someone to do some (about 19 different) hyperrealistic product renderings (A3 @ 300dpi) for me. I will provide you with maps and step/ fbx files. I will need to get the renderings as well as the open scene files after completion. Alternatively I am looking for someone to make me a cinema 4d scene file with all the lighting and materials so I can render the different shots myself. Please send me a PM with your proposal and samples of your work.

Attached please find a sample of some renderings as they look like right now. As you can see there is plenty for improvement. You can find samples of the look and feel I'm after on Apples Mac Pro web page.

Cheers

Hi there

I'm trying to recreate a nail polish or car paint material with the typical glimmer look (a base redish color with glimmer). Did anyone manage to make something like that with Corona for Cinema and is willing to shed some light on how he did it? Thanks in advance.

[C4D] General Discussion / Re: Any news on the OSX port?
« on: 2016-02-26, 19:09:10 »
Awesome! BTW - If I purchase the Windows version which seems to be released prior to the Mac version can I switch to the Mac version once it is released (without purchasing it again)? Are there any plans? See, I usually work on OS X and only run Windows (bootcamp) on my Mac to be able to work with corona.

That did the trick. Thanks.

I'm trying to render a scene lit by just one hdr image. I create a cinema sky object with a corona light shader in which I pop the hrd file. But the scene renders black even if I crank up the exposure (corona settings and hrd shader) to max. What am I doing wrong? I'm running the latest corona built (4.1) on cinema R 17.

Thanks for the replies. I will give it a try. Obviously we need material stacking at some future time...

[C4D] General Discussion / Decals in Cinema 4D
« on: 2016-02-04, 11:55:54 »
Hi there,

I'm trying to do some decals in Corona for Cinema but I can't get it to work. I've tried a alpha texture in the opacity channel without success. Can someone shed some light on how to do that or are decals not supported atm?

Kind regards
Raoul
