Not rendering clones

I was working on a very similar scene yesterday with no problem. Today is a different story — My clones aren't rendering (IR or PV). I even tried v7 to see if that helped but it didn't. (there was an error about an invalid number but wouldn't let me save the report).
If anyone has any bright idea the would be amazing — I have tried so many things.....

Cinemike:
You either need less displacement on cube.1, a clone offset or bigger clones.
Currently your clones are "swallowed" by the increased surface.

Thank you. Displacements seems to catch me every time.
