I my opinion it looks good for a beginning! I like these reflections on wooden table.
I think there are some bright pixels in the corners of the room (top of the screen). Does your room have thickness? If not, you should add shell modifier or add thickness otherwise or these bright dots might appear.
Some parts look too clean, like chrome elements to the right and this pink oven thing but it probably just needs some tweaking. Adding some background would change a lot.

Christmas gift from me. ;)

There are some differences, for example UHD one looks slightly darker and is more noisy. There is also more single bright pixels on the block wall with UHD (like very weak fireflies). Why is MSI in UHD settings different than the one in general settings?

What's the relation between UHD's sampling quality and HD's quality? (forgot the name - in UHD it's 512 and in HD it's 256, should it be the same to have good comparison?)

UHD rendering was slightly slower.

In the zip file there are two images in original quality + indirect passes + vfb screens.

You need to enable some kind of transparency for SSS to work, same for absorption. I find it unintuitive too but I guess it's still a WIP feature. What I know so far is that for SSS to work, you have to enable some absorption first (change color to other than white and value to other than 0), and then you can change scattering parameters. For me it is easiest to make the material completely transparent first (refraction 1, ior 1, glossiness 1) and then play with SSS parameters. When you are more or less happy with how SSS works, you can change refraction parameters or disable refraction and enable translucency. Refraction + SSS will work like for example fluid that has some kind of tiny particles inside (milk?) and translucency + SSS will work like there is a thin layer of "skin" and tiny particles underneath (grape?).

Cool. But I think it may be hard for new users. Or if you're not very familiar with Corona settings, you can forget which setting you changed and have problems looking for it.

How is the line lighting made? Object emitter? What material?

Did you try removing/disabling some of these lights? For example, disable the line light and see if there is still noise. Disable IES lights and see if there is noise.

Also you can try adding CEssential_Direct and CEssential_Indirect render elements. If you see noise in direct - increase LSM, if you see noise in indirect - increase GI/AA balance.

For IES lights you can also try using max's default photometric lights instead of Corona lights.

Not much noise here. :) Maybe it just needs some more rendering?

It's only 5 passes, why? Are you using bucket rendering? Or changed some render settings?

Can you post screens of your scene? Material config? Lighting?
