It would be nice to see implementation of blender microdisplacements/adaptive subdivisions  feature in future Corona versions.

That's exactly what Corona displacement does.

Yeah, Cycles was just late to the party ;)

What about vector displacement?

Vector displacement is supported too. (3ds max native map)

Nice, didn't noticed (am on blender).
So should also be supported in the standalone (22-08 build)?

yes, standalone also supports that

Just to clarify a thing about Standalone version:
If scene is not prepared by main/core plugin (for Max & C4D) and exported from there - Standalone by itself, doesn't include this feature (to describe, create and render such a scene) >>> Blender to Corona bridge now supports this feature.*
