Hi there
there is a problem with turning on the volume effects with the cloud
the down part of the clouds will disappear when the volume is on
I test with different heights, altitudes, and camera angles, but it will be the same.

It's a known issue, already logged. I am not aware of any workaround, it seems these two options are currently incompatible.

Hi all, any progress with this? Love using volumetric lighting AND clouds! Not sure if I am on the latest build right now, but if it is fixed I'll make sure to update!

Hi, coming from C4D, we also have this issue. A workaround I found was to use a volume material either on a cube covering the scene or adding it to the global environment channel. It seems to diffuse that harsh edge. Maybe this might work in Max as well ;)

+1 for getting this fixed. It's the first thing my team checks after ever update. We're so sick of rendering out the sky in two passes, I find it crazy we haven't had a fix yet

Make sure to check if it is already there in AHA (feature requests) portal, if not, submit it, and cast a vote for it.

Is it really a feature request though?  Surely it's a bug fix.  The feature is there, it's just not working as well as it should be.
