Title: Parsing
Post by: Javadevil on 2021-11-01, 02:35:29
I've noticed at the end of parsing the scene, corona render just stops rendering, but if I move the Render Setup window or the VFB, just give them a little giggle, it will start rendering.

Running:
Corona 7
Windows 10
AMD Ryzen 7 3800X 8-Core Processo 3.90 GHz
64.0 GB

I'm also running Parsec remote desktop.

Hi and thanks for bringing this issue to our attention, this could be related to Parsec RMD, is it possible to see if the issue persists with some other RMD or windows app?

Can you recommend another RMD? Parsec is really easy to setup

I've noticed this too, even without parsec (although Jump Desktop may have been running). I left my computer for over an hour thinking Parsing the Scene was taking forever, but when I clicked in the 3dsMax window, it completed in only a few seconds...strange behavior for sure.

Hi John,
Did you find a solution? Are you using Pulze Scene manager?

I'm not, no, and I haven't found a solution. But, there is another thread a bit further down from this one where someone suspects Forest Pack or Railclone may be the culprit. This would make sense for me because the scene I was experiencing the issue in used multiple FP objects.

Happened today once to me. I thought max froze and after touching something it just went on like nothing happened.

2990wx
3dsmax 2020 + Corona 7.1
FP+RC
Anydesk
Pulze Scene Manager

Edit: I was working on the machine so Anydesk RMD was not really active.

Hi everyone can you please try using Corona version 8 RC1 and see if the issue persists? (Build can be found here: https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?topic=33839.msg196056#msg196056)
Please also make sure you have your windows updated with the latest updates.
