Hello

Lately I was working on render for a company tht makes air vents and grids.
In my jurney I had to do closeups of some elements like grids it self. Modeling that would be too much of a waste, and using Displacement is not an option.

My problem was solved thanks to VrayPattern plugin, the problem it creates for me is that It does not support corona.
I think that default option of plugin, alike would be a great thing. So far I found that method extreamly helpful, but it forced me to stick to Vray, instead of continuing my jurney with Corona.

Hi, I asked our (iCube R&D) developer is it possible to adapt VrayPattern to Corona and he told me that it needs support for some new primitives in Corona in SDK or something like this. As no developer I can't explain exactly what this means. I really wanted to have this tool in Corona, but it needs to be written from scratch by hes words.

PS
Change "Pettern" to "Pattern" in topic name please.

Perhaps you will want to link your (iCube R&D) development department with Ondra for the cooperation - Corona pattern will be very popular product

Did you try Itoo's railclone (lite)? You may find that you don't feel such urge for CoronaPattern anymore ;]

"Resolved" does not mean "implemented". It just means that we won't look into it any further... unless other users bump it or submit similar requests frequently. Which leads us to...

...after receiving a lot of request for a feature similar to fstorm's geopattern, we will definitely consider adding our own version. No time frame for now, but it will be listed here: https://trello.com/b/EfPE4kPx/corona-road-map-3ds-max

RESURRECTION

That would make sense if we called it "Corona Matrix".
