But i found it didn't work with render elements.

Hi everyone
I want to share with you our new workstation config at work

Fractal Design Define XL R2 Black Pearl
Asus Z10PE-D16 WS *
xeon E5-2690 v4 @2.6GHZ 14c (x2)
Samsung 64 GBB DDR4
Samsung  SSD 950 pro 512 M.2
Asus Turbo GTX 970 4GB
Corsair H100i v2
Corsair H80i v2
Corsair rm 1000 i

* i choose this mother for 2 things. First the z10 version can support the v3 and v4 intel chip. The Z9 cant.
and second the d16 instead the d8 not for the 16 dim memory support but just because of the 2 radiators placement on left and right of the mother board who let us plug water cooling radiator on top of the case.

with this config i have a result of 00:49 on the corona benchmark
and 4331 on cinebech R15

This congif is not too expensive ~ 5000 - 6000 €
we found the best price for the ddr4 and the xeon at servertronic.de

The denoise works also pretty well. The render speed with it is just amazing. In just  10 passes we have decent render for quick presentation.

I put the  houdini maters class in firt because it much technical
for the rest sorry if it look like too much modo fan but if you go to the foundry vimeo channel, it's an amount of phenomenal videos, tutorial coures etc

Displacement only work in the base material.
- we cant mix displace with multiple material
- IR VFB doesn't update with just a base material (nothing in the layer mat) and in this base material with a CoronaMix plug in the displacement map. Play with the value, swtching map, changing map etc IR doesn't update correctly until i close it and re open

Hi,
Great release

I noticed two bug if we can say it's a bug.

- In render region (blowup ) the IR don't update when we move the region till i move the view-port in perspective and camera mode

- when i switch the render region in other mode like just region, the IR VFB don't update the part outside the region even if Clear VFB was already checked
