Ok, I investigated the issue and there is no bug. Amount of blur is identical, the entire animation had an offset, because Corona has different range of frame offset parameter.

The claim about 1.4 frames being the right amount of motion blur is of course utter and complete bullshit. Standard value is 0.5 frames (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rotary_disc_shutter)
