Corona 12 Hotfix 2 Error on Old CPU.
ttdesign@ttdesign.kr:
I work with distributed render using main pc and sub pc. The sub pcs are Xeon+ddr3 systems, and they worked without any problems in Corona 12 Hotfix 1, but in Hotfix 2, the program is terminated, so I can't use it. Can't I use the ddr3 system in the future?
moderator's note: edited the title - i believe it was naughty autocomplete that wanted to associate Corona renderer with a virus? ;]
TomG:
You'd have to let us know the make and model of the Xeons. The compatibility is listed at https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/articles/4665349542417-What-are-the-system-requirements-of-Corona and nothing changed in terms of supported CPUs between versions, at least not deliberately. Are you getting any error messages? Are you sure it's not scene size and the sub PCs are not just running out of memory? Is Max updated to be the same version on all machines?
ttdesign@ttdesign.kr:
Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2697 v2 / ram 256 GB is in use. The RAM is 256GB, so there is no shortage. I was using it in Corona renderer 12 hotfix1 without any problems. After updating to hotfix2, run 3ds max and set the renderer to corona, and the program will be terminated immediately. After that, if you run the 3ds max program at all, it will be terminated during loading. If you install it again with hotfix1, it will work normally. And if you install it again with hotfix2, the program will be terminated again.
The error log at the end of the program is as follows.

Hi,
Thanks for sharing the details and error log. It would be really helpful if you could submit a minidump file so our developers can take a closer look.
