Does anyone know how to get forest pack items to render when using 'Render Selective'
I just want to re-render some trees in an animation that had fireflies on them, without rendering the whole frames. I just can't find a way.

I tried a work-around applying a shadow catcher material to everything else and turned the shadows amount up to 10 to eliminate the shadows. The Beauty pass has no shadows but the alpha channel still does.

In VRay, there is an alpha matte material that you can apply to all the other objects to make them invisible, but nothing similar in Corona.

Any ideas would be welcome. Ideally to get it to work with Render Selective.

I have set up an image to render a region using my main workstation and some render nodes. Whilst the main workstation renders only what is in the render region box, the DR nodes render the entire image, which is a huge waste or resources.
Is this a fault or have I've missed a switch/setting somewhere?

Hi
I couldn't find my original post on this subject but I was told that this issue was going to be fixed in Hotfix 1.
Unfortunately it still happens. Not all the time, but sometimes.
Any ideas?

I have been given a 3dsmax project to work with. It's an old project that I worked on in Corona 10 and never had any issues with the Sun.
Now when I open the file the sun has dettached itself from the target and is pointing the wrong way.
I can merge the old sun in from a previous version and work with that so long as I stay in the same session. If I close and restert Max, the sun breaks again.
Is anyone else find this since they moved to Corona 11 or is it just me?

Could someone please tell me how to use this map?
I can only get it to work on polygons with zero thikness. It doesn't work on an extruded spline even when height is set to zero and it definately doesn't work on a box.
Maybe I'm trying to use it for the wrong thing - adding dirt and streaks. I have been using the AO map but wanted to see if this was better/easier.

Would be great if you could update the whole material library from legacy to physical materials. Yes, I know it can be done converting materials one by one or even by scene, but it would just be really nice to have them all converted from the start.

Apologies, I know this is an old topic but I'm a new user and there never appeared to be a solution.

I have just jumped over from VRay and I'm finding the scene parsing times when using Railclone ridiculously long. Looking at the stats, it takes, 90 secs to parse the scene that then takes 4 seconds to render.
When I turn off the 3 Railclone objects (roof tiles) I get 0 seconds for parsing. I have checked the 3 RC objects and all have the 'use instancing engine' checked on which I believe is supposed to speed things up (?).
I'm hoping that this is user error rather than Corona.

I'm also assuming that as I have the 'use instancing engine' checked on, the RC multi materials won't work?
