Otherwise my knowledge of eastren European language is not that good :-)

My fucking hoster cut off access to the site because of a large number of unique IP per day. It is a pity to me that so left. Now I try to change a hoster and to transfer the site.

works great except when we create a daylight system some error windows appear
Param:On
Object: Daylight001
Exception: unknown NameParam

Idem for Intensity, Visible directly, Visible in reflections, Visible in refractions, Color, textured,

Param: Mode
Object: Daylight001
Exception: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

And after all that message the daylight appear in the lightlister and all the checkboxes are unavalaible

ecximer,

On max 2012 I keep getting the attached error for LightLister Corona v1? Doesn't even get to the LightLister dialogue.

Downloaded and installed the 2015 version.
But Max is crashing upon opening.

screenshot attached.
So Max is opening, when loading the user interface, the upper toolbar is changing and then Max 2015 with lastest SP pack is crashing.

Is there anyone where the plugin is working with 2015?

Ok.
belly, tnx for reporting.
I understood the reason of crash and already I think how to fix it.

Temporarily you can switch the enhanced menu and start 3dsmax with the simple menu. After successful initialization of a plugin you can return back the enhanced menu.

Thank you ecximer,

Just noticed a small bug. When you enter values in the width and height and press return the text justifys to the right and you cannot see the values afterwards. See screenshot.

Hi, 3dwannab!

Unfortunately it not an error of LightLister.
It not further development of a third-party spinner under assembly C#. I understand that it isn't convenient, but so far so.
You can press HOME key and see your value.

FYI: Switching back to the enhance menu, causes Max still to crash.

is there any chance to avoid this message each time I run 3ds Max?
I installed the plug in as you suggested and I already set a button on a toolbar.

Thank you very much for your support.

It looks really nice :) I installed it on 3Ds Max 2015 and it works.
However I can´t use "Alt+W" shortcut to switch between views?
If I remove the 2 dll files Alt+W is working again?

I'm having this error as well.  It happens when I open the tool and again when I close it.

Is there a chance of getting resizable column widths?  I'd like to be able to see the entire name of my lights as well as the entire value of the intensity.

Thanks again for making this tool!

hi, nauticus25!
no, I won't do resize.
the quantity of code lines will come nearer to quantity of lines 3ds max. x)
but I made tooltips which will facilitate life a little.

Pererostka, perhaps next time.

new version 1.1 is available

I can confirm that the update fixed the Daylight issue for me.  Thanks!

I understand and don't blame you at all for not wanting to add complexity to your tool.  The built-in Max light lister is also not resizable.  However, anything past 3 digits gets cut off, which makes it difficult to identify your lights at a glance.  For instance, which one is lights.interior.wallwash and is it 5000lm or 50000lm?

Is it possible to increase the width of the intensity box to view 5 digits?  Perhaps units could be reduced to just the abbreviation?  lm instead of Lumens, cd instead of Candela, etc.

Overall I have to say I find your UI to be refreshing.  Compact without feeling cluttered.  Nice job!

Doh.  I didn't realize the tooltips were in the settings.  That does help.  I prefer the adjusted box sizes from your second screen shot.  You might gain even more room for the name column if you take some space from the map column.  I refer to the name of a light all the time, not so much the map that is applied to it.  But this is only my preference.  I am happy that the tool exists at all.  Thanks!

Hi,
Thanks for your script - it's very useful and it saved a lot of time for me!
But now I start to use build from 16.04.2015 and realized that CoronaLightListener doesn't work with it. I tried to reinstall the script - it didn't help. Now I'm working with the project with bunch of light groups and I miss this great tool realy much.
Is it possible to fix this problem somehow? That would be great.
Thanks!

in my 3ds Max Tools menu I have a huge number of "light lister (corona Renderer)" items.
Please see the attached image. Is there any chance to avoid it?

Hello fellows,
Will this plugin work in 3dsmax 2016?
I pointed it to the same folder but for now I don't see any corona light lister in the tools menu.
Generally plugins work cross version between max 2015/16 hence I gave it a go.

Should I do anything else?
Cheers and thanks for your time!

I checked site and result - there are NO VIRUSES

I was just asking...it's hard to convince the admin to install it then a virus warning pops up :)

some of the antivirus software just plain flag everything that is downloaded from internet and not signed as a virus... too bad code signing cert can be very expensive :/

? Here it does (latest DB, Max2016). But there is no script category defined so you don´t find it as described under "--G.Tools--". Try to uncomment line 127 to 131 in the downloaded script (or run it manually).

Good Luck

Hi

Your Light Lister is great and I'm used to work with it every day, but it doesn't work with the latest 2 daily builds (2017-11-10 and 2017-12-06). Would be great to work with it with newer version of Corona. Now I'm going back to Corona 1.7 just to have this useful tool on my hand :)

Any plans to update your Light Lister?
