Hi
I would like to see if the materiel option "round corners" can have an extra feature which will work on sub object Level "Elements".

I don't understand this. It should work on all edges.

I think it's so that it can pick out edge detail between elements within an object, for example to create a chamfer where two boxes meet flush. I could be wrong though...

In the meanwhile I have a rendered example. Here you see that it is not rendering on all the edges.

@Maru: What I would like to see is that in your example "round 2" the edges in the middle would have round corners aswell.

this is not feasible with rounded edges option, as there are no actual edges to round. That being said, it would be possible for example to add bump support to wire map...
