Confirmed, crashes here, too.
And in the bug report there's the corona hair object mentioned again, although there is no hair anywhere near this scene.

It's either a conspiracy of the bald or a nasty, very far reaching bug.

So the question is: What's different on your machine compared to ours?

I'm running Corona V8 RC 1 in Cinema 4D 25.117 on Windows 10, 21H2

Bug report and mini dump added.

I am really curious where this hair involvement could come from.

HW? ;)

AMD TR 1950X w/ 64GB

Answering that always makes me blush.
Intel i7-4770k w/ 32GB RAM
And to make me fully surrender to my melancholy: an NVidia GTX 650 graphics card.

Now I am depressed again ...

No crash here either. I have reported this for further investigation. can you tell me what version of Corona and C4D you are using? Oh, and what OS are you running?

No crash in VP rendering.
Instant crash in PV rendering.

Same software constellation as stated about, except now trying with V8 RC2.

Bug report again blames Corona hair.

Okay great, has anything changed in your scene that is now allowing it to render without crashing?
