Title: 360 Renders...?
Post by: iacdxb on 2018-03-12, 15:28:43
Hi,

First time I got request.

A product (example a box) for online, client want to see his all the sides (rotation) of the box even top and bottom when mouse roll over. Any one can help me how can I render 360 with top and bottom and in which format I should give him...?

Thanks.

If you're after a spherical render, there will be an option in the corona camera tag at the bottom.

And if you are after some sort of turntable viewer, how you render it will depend entirely on what software / website / browser application you are using to enable the turntable viewing; that would determine what you have to render out and you'd have to check their documentation on what they need in terms of images (I would think it would be created either by animating the camera, or animating the object, and creating the series of still frames it needs).

Though, I think most turntable viewers spin around the model only, rather than allow above / below too, but have never investigated them in details.

As a note, it may even be best for turntable viewing to just export the model to some such 3D object viewer; you won't be using Corona at all in that case, and it will be a realtime render so not nearly as pretty, but it won't need hundreds or thousands of still images :) See things like Sketchfab for example.

Spherical camera I dont think it works.

Ground will stay white or grey and object will move when mouse roll over. Like this...

I think its some kind of interactive 3d renders.
It is for facebook post.

Pixelsquid have a help page on how to create turntables for their site (but again, it is viewer site / page / app dependent) - https://www.turbosquid.com/3d-modeling/turbosquid/product-page/creating-turntables/ (https://www.turbosquid.com/3d-modeling/turbosquid/product-page/creating-turntables/)

Trying some object rotation.... animation but every time randomly its quitting, after 4, 6 or 10 frames. Total are 20 frames.

Not going till 20 frames....! any other way...?

Thanks.

Would it be better to render a series of stills rather than a video? Did you find out what the viewer will be?

Still struggling...!

I am saving as sequence of jpg files... but its quitting in-between, not going through all the frames.

What I meant was instead of rendering a turntable animation, to render still images instead.
