[Scatter] I need help! / Scatter breaks group?

Hi

I have a question regarding corona scatter, or perhaps this is true for any scattering software?

Anyway. I have a archmodel tree that is grouped into a single model. Scattering this breaks it apart so my question is, how do i handle the tree model to make it scatter as an object?

Hi

I was wondering if i could get some general tips on my animation setup.

Im creating an animation in 1280x720, now, should i render directly to movie format or do i render frame by frame and create the movie afterwards, is there a prefered or correct workflow here? Also, how do i keep the movie size down so 60 seconds dont become like 600 mb without loosing image quality?

I did a test render and saved directly to .avi, the outputfile however came out as 720x480, 6 seconds, 23 mb. The image became compressed somehow?

Hi, so i've been looking around for some nice wood textures to use on kitchen drawers and such but it's quite hard to find anything good out there that does not look bad becuase of seams or that it simply keeps reapeating itself all over the kitchen.

So, my question is, does anyone know any good site for this kind of textures? Either free or to buy, as long as they are good to work with?

Well, that exact build is today, in Sweden, 2712$ (Not the same company). But as i said, parts is kinda expensive over here. Guess this link wont tell you that much considering it's mostly in Swedish, but thats how my basket looks anyway. 1$ is 8,40 Kr

Mmm, yeah, well im one of thoose "Need a new computer" "Sort by price" "Pick expensive one". Stupid, yeah. But when you're not into all the stuff that you need  to know to make a good buy it just gets frustrating talking, or more like listening to to a seller... Anyway, similar setup with another CPU, pricetag 3679$. The other one actually came down to 4000$, calculated the $ to high the first time.

I get that it's a high end machine. I think computer parts is somewhat more expensive over here to. Converted to $ ill end up spending around 5000$

You mentioned 80%. What CPU should i be looking at?

So, im buying a new computer and thought that perhaps someone on this forum got some experience with the issues im currently having.

I work as an Architect/3D-artist and use the software like Revit/Archicad and 3D-studio. For the last months i also been using Corona for all my work and will continue to do so once 1.0 comes out, i really love it.

Anyway. The setup im looking at has the following specs.

Intel Core i7-5960X
MSI GeForce GTX 750 1GB
Crucial DDR4 Ballistix Sport 32GB

Thing is, im not that super in to puters and the hardware inthis setup orgins from a "Gaming machine". However, reading around i get the feeling it would suit my needs and work well with Corona to. Anyone got any input, tips?

Work in Progress/Tests / Testrender Bedroom

Hi

Been trying out Corona and really like it alot. This is a testrender from a scene that was setup pretty quick. However, how do i get it to "pop" more? Is it all in the postproduction? And by "pop" i mean bring more realim to it. Any tips on what to think of cocerning materials, lights etc? Any kind of help is welcome.
