But if you're using a corona proxy object and choose 'from scene' option, when you select the object you want to 'proxy-mize' it saves it on the drive at proper location doesn't it ? I started a properly converted bank like that and haven't noticed any trouble. Then you can in further project, or the same one choose a corona proxy 'from file' and point it to the previously saved location, it works flawlessly.

At least that seems to solve the location problem from the (deprecated?) script, having more options is of course debatable topic; some needs them, some wants a clean minimal usefull interface... that's dev choice.

or 'not even KM can...' ?
When all he wants to achieve for a6 is achieved let's say :)

well it's not bad but it's not fast neither, it's 95% maxwell aka slow but pretty, and not stable (on my machine at least).
Anyway that was just wondering as most 'beginners' with corona post about fireflies, or when you've launch a big render and notice after 24h that you you have some, it could be convenient to fake/solve it quickly rather than relaunch render or stamp stamp stamp with image editing softw.

I know it won't be the most needed feature ever but I've been recently playing with Nox render, very similar to maxwell, and there's a feature to automatically spot and kill fireflies from render VFB post panel. That feature with a slider to fade the effect might be usefull.

All in all I was not convinced by Nox (unstable, tried three times, crashed three times) but the VFB is very promising and sexy.

yes it's true that the shadow of sofa coming from the lamp while outside looks like nuclear summer is somewhat not realist.
Have you tried to tweak highlight compression in render settings / post ? It seems that most of your question are related to that part of the flow, may be curtains should not drop that much shadows too..

pretty nice !
As Romulus said the curtain would probably gain realism by a smaller mapping or smaller bump, or both, right now it's a bit strange, and may be the black corbel bottom left is a bit too mat, but that's really to complain about something :)

Love the snow against the window,
and glasses of wine in front of fireplace (why not using the existing furnitures for your story telling ?) means you need a polar bear's skin there :D

On second thought, maybe there should be more folds/wrinkles to better emphasize materials like silk.

Like it but there's no more the deeper fold from your first one, on right side of view) that could be nice to see the translucency or whatever transports light in deepest corner.

That comment apply as well to Vladimir examples, gorgeous but falling on ground and hostings 'deep' part inside would be nice to evaluate light transportation thru.

MAy be.

although I never understood why not using all hardware in a machine, why this OR that. I would even put the usb controller at work if that could be, and the burner :D

Not bad for a first submission. Corona learning curve is.. almost inexistant somehow.

you're talking about the corona proxy 'from mesh' function ?
I had no problem with it till now but I'm curious about the issue you had.

I decided not to xxxxxxx on weekdays until A6 RC1 is out
That's the kind of sentence you won't be happy to see quoted when you'll be selling a product :D

Nice improvement, as always.

My bad, I've noticed before night that I could not reproduce the result neither because of changed features... actually I could do pretty much everything I wanted quite quickly with berconmaps earlier releases, but new versions are pretty useless, they just makes some cloudy magma or stars.. I tried for one hour without convincing results (that I finally obtain from cells map in chip mode, 5 layers though).

Anyway you're skilled enough to figure out your best way :)

I always has been wondering if they wasn't people paid to make blender or other software have creepy interface and keep most potential users away from it. Not even autodesk could afford as much people as open source community can gather, and provide in a breathe what studio obtains from 10 dev and sell for thousands $$.. never understood.

But I remind I tried it in early 2000's and it was a nightmare, even zbrush RC1 was making more sense while total alienoïd.
