Hi
here convert scene converts all mats with opacity color 0&, this is a bug as then all materials render invisible, it shoudl be 100%/white

hope this can be fixed soon, cost time to revert on every converison
thanks!

This is not happening here, in that case - I did this - set engine to C4D's Physical, add a C4D material and place it on a cube, run the Corona Convert Scene, and the resulting Corona Physical Material has Opacity unchecked (so it is not being used, and the object is not transparent), and even if Opacity is checked, the object remains solid as the Opacity Level is 100%.

In order to know more about what is happening, can you break down the steps you are following, let us know which version of Corona and C4D you are using, and best yet send in a scene in the unconverted state so that we can do the conversion here and see what happens (sharing some  screen grabs of your material pre and post conversion would also help). Thanks!

Tom, changing the C4D engine to Physical is something I haven't heard before. Are you saying if I have my Corona scene, import C4D materials, change the engine to Physical and then Convert Scene, or should this be done in a separate scene BEFORE bringing in the materials into the Corona scene?

No, it was just a way for me to create a "not Corona scene" as I don't have any otherwise, in order to run the converter on :) So it's normally just load your scene (it comes in with whatever engine was used, though I believe only C4D Std or Physical are supported for conversion), run converter, and done. I just created a scene rather than loaded one :)

Oh okay. You got me excited for a minute there that changing the engine makes the conversion better. It is sad that there hasn't been much progress in converting standard C4D materials. I know they still render, but I'm sure we are not getting the same results as if the material was built in Corona.
