Hi Forum!

I have just purchased R19 and a new MacBook Pro. I am using two MacBook Pros and one 27" iMac (2011). Team Render does not start on the two client machines. I know there is still issues with TR with Corona. I did have to downgrade Corona to the November 27th 2017 version to avoid crashes. John :-)

Hi Corona Forum!

I did post a similar topic a while back using GSG HDRI Link. I am still not a 100% sure how to set it up. Should I use Corona Sky and add the Link tag to this or use a C4D sky object and add the Link tag to this? GSG tutorials only give tutorials on using it with Octane or V-Ray but does say it is compatible with Corona. Anyone used it together yet?

Hi Forum Gang!

I am currently working on some cigarette packaging and need to achieve the look of the box graphics being printed ontop of matt foil. Basically the artwork will look metallic. I have used the Layer shader with a matt gold base and can achieve to mask out areas where there is no image and gold shows through but I can't seem to get them to mix. Any help will be much appreciated :-) John

Hi Forum,

As far as using Corona for any URGENT projects or PRODUCTION... Just don't go there! Give the guys a break. We are in BETA and doing a FANTASTIC job :-) X. A full production version is way off yet. We are all keen to have the full version but come on guys

THANK YOU GUYS! I will turn the white light down (makes sense with light clashing) and making a duplicate is genius. Never thought of this approach! I will post a result as soon as i can. :-)

I am working on a wall unit with a multi coloured edge light. What is the best way to get the coloured light to really beam out far on a white wall? At the moment I am using a corona light material with a coloured gradient. If i increase the intensity too far the colours wash out. It does not reach out far enough on the wall and the Bloom does not seem to work. I have tried to play with the directionality which helps a bit but if you push it too far the glow on the wall looks better but the actual light edge starts to look dull. Any help much appreciated :-) Johnny S

Hi All!

I have a question regarding textures. I use a lot of PSD textures because of client amends moving text, logos etc. on artwork that is mapped onto panels, bottles and so on. In native C4D it seems to work flawless if you use PSD files with layers were you can shift bits around (20-100mb). With Corona, I have noticed a slow down. Am I better off using PNG, JPG, instead? Many thanks! John
