All is in the title, and is it possible to get the best caustic out of it.

What kind of water do you need? Pouring water, lake, sea, river, muddy, clean?

Here is some quick thingie. Caustics are a bit of a problem. You can use path tracing but it takes ages to get clean caustics or you can try using bidir.

Thank you for the tips and settings.
Sorry, I forgot: I want lake water, clear.
I also want to have caustics projected from the water surface on the walls, as if the water was illuminated.
I'll try using your settings.
