Are you trying the 7.2 version, or 1.0?

Are you sure Corona files copied correctly? Did you try uninstalling and then copying Corona files manually?

Hello.

Had this issue too. Yesterday all was fine. Today max start to crash on startup when loading corona.dlr. When uninstall corona - all fine, when install A6 - all fine, when install 1.0 or 1.00.01 - it crashes. Reinstall 3dsmax, install 1.0 - it crashes.

I solved a problem only by deleting folder: C:\Users\****\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\2014 - 64bit
After that it start working. It happened only on 1 of 3 my pc, others works fine.

yep... the same situation here. i've tried RC2/RC3/1.0 /1.0.01 and legacy version as well - still crashes. I'm sure I've copied all files correctly to right folders, as always.

I have to try your method, but first are you sure it's safe to delete this folder? It contains subfolder called ENU, I thought it might be something important (about 120MB in there)?

I didn't delete it. Just renamed it (renamed ENU to ENU_old). When max start It creates new folder with exact same name, but this will reset max to default settings. You can read about it here: http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/3ds-max-design/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Resetting-3ds-Max-3ds-Max-Design.html

grimmorf what a relief, it works (so far). Anyway You should be more precise when writing "delete" instead of "rename" ;) Thank You for your reply

there is also a corona subfolder somewhere in there, you can try deleting it (it is safe to delete) to see if that helps

Actually, if you haven't deleted the previous folder, could you rename it back so that the issue is present again and see if deleting Corona folder helps? That could be very helpful for other users with this problem!
