Hey everyone, I've started patching up old collections and noticed a difference in lighting. the thing is, I have thousands of already rendered and approved pictures in hundreds of different materials. But after switching to 8 I noticed a difference in rendering. 8 renders lighter.
I checked all the settings and they match. I realized that 8 is sensitive to the order of the elements in the mapping tone. But I didn’t manage to achieve 100% similarity until the only way to roll back to the 7th version (((

Sorry for being so direct, but switching to a different version mid-project is never a good idea. I think rolling back to V7 is a perfectly fine solution here.
V8 had so many changes and improvements in it that some differences, at least in some scenarios, are definitely expected.

As to the tone mapping stack: the exposure operator is best used at the top of the stack.
