Hi

I understand that 4K cache is not ready to be rolled out due to some problems that it may can cause.

But what are they and when is it ok to use it?

Also, what are the main advantages of it? I read that it will eventually replace the UHD cache so that it must do some things well!!!

Thank you

It's faster to parse and gives a better quality result (more accurate lighting etc). When it doesn't work - which is only in very rare cases - you may get things like square artifacts. It's ok to use so long as you don't see any odd artifacts in the render :)

Gives it better quality for animations or stills as well?

What exactly do you mean by better quality?
It should be less biased, meaning that the lighting should be more similar to what would happen in real life.
