Is there an option to keep the rendered image in the viewport after stopping it?
Currently the Corona logo shows up.

Thanks.

What is the goal of this? To re-render a part of the image with the previous one in the background?

No. To stop processing the image and still be able to look at it until you decide to re render it.

Never underestimate the power of a well placed level one spell.

+1, alternatively you can set number of interactive passes to a certain amount, you can also lock the view to render camera via render settings so at most cases it won't revert back to the logo if you move around, but it's kinda glitchy 3ds max plays with it's own rules.
