Can someone tell me (who is using substance designer) how easy the pipeline is between the substance designer software and max / corona? Im not sure if I should be investing buying these materials on cgtextures. Is this story of creating materials going to stick?

I'm a little paranoid.

It's really easy these days, Allegorithmic released a Substance plug-in for 3ds Max (https://forum.allegorithmic.com/index.php/topic,23421.0.html). It is a beta plug-in at the moment but it was released awhile ago so a newer version should be coming soon.

You basically load a substance into max then use the plug-in to convert to a Corona material.
