152 000 images?! My brain restarted couple times when i tried to imagine such number :] Would love to know some details about your workflow. How that's even possible?
I'm not Corona Team member. Everything i say, is my personal opinion only.

it seems the configurateur.billard-toulet.com is a website that allows the visitor to change configuration of the materials and it process the changes by re-rendering every unique configuration. but I could be wrong though because it will stress the server machine very much if hundreds of visitors use the online configuration tools at the same time, unless the server has a thousands cpus :)

In fact, all the possible colors has been rendered with Corona...

We separated all changeable parts into layers, and the website is displaying the choosen parts...

And, about the large number of renderings :
25 billards models
up to 42 colors / finishes
31 colors for the playing fabric
several colors for balls
plus plates, options (inox, leds...), Cues-racks, and so on...
All tha in 6 differents ambiances...

All that were rendered with Corona, using an animation - based system...

Very nice! We've made something similar some years ago with a kitchen configurator and ended up with "only" 120.000 images ;)
Any sufficiently advanced bug is indistinguishable from a feature.
