Hi, I'm testing corona 2-3 weeks. Always was rendering so fast, but today is so slow. 13 passes in 90 minutes (res 3700x2080 pix)...
I have hdcache. i7, 16gb ram, 2g graphic.

What can I do to make rendering faster?

Are you using motion blur?
Portals?

No motion blur, no dof, or any other unusual effects.
I stopped rendering and started again, but it's still slow, initial pass in 10 minutes, it always was only few seconds. :(

You used materials with high values of refraction?

yes, but it was never a problem for corona on my computer. In my last scene I used more materials with high values of refraction, but rendering was 10 times faster.
Could it be a problem with 'visibility for camera"? Because I have hidden some objects.

1 - What are these objects?
2 - The scene is outside or inside?
3 - Is converted into a scene full crown or designed from scratch to you?

Give it a try and reset the render settings

Problem solved, I finished rendering after 36hours and only 300passes, closed the scene, and opened several times, and everything came back to normal. I think it's another bug in corona alpha.

Yes, 2014, could it be because of that?

Yes, there is a bug that causes some textures to be EXTREMELY slow when 3dsmax is first run. Usually just stopping/restarting rendering works.
