can you also post your memory tab screenshot from task manager at the moment of rendering?

attached ...

but when tried this situation via 1.3 on bucket mode at past, at least render was finished !!

my experience with vray for this situations is tweaking bsp depth that cause super speed of rendering :]

yep, 29.4 GB commited on 16 GB RAM, there is no way in hell this could work fast. End of discussion. Only thing that could change between 1.3 and 1.4 is increasing memory usage. We will try to make corona less memory hungry. To confirm, can you try installing 1.3 and rendering the same scene - what will your "Commited" number be?

I mean 3dsmax 2016 demo  - 2017 API changed quite a lot of things, so backporting Corona 1.3 to it is not planned

int system.threadPriority = Normal

is it possible to enable bucket render in 1.5 via string options or maxscript like this secret weapon? :]

nope ... just test with bucket ... but i'm afraid to show the results!! just say that take less ram (atleast 1 gig) ... and more clean results :/
but nevermind! just waiting for future!! damn! ;)

the core of this version is very different with newer ones ...

well ... test via wonderful bucket render :]

I just wonder about more realistic and better color mapping and good looking of shaders of 1.3 against of 1.5 with same setup! (in this test just decrease sun intensity)

on start:

after 1 pass:

Finish:
