RC4 - again IR is refreshing picture while hovering mouse over the viewport
Very strange:)
everything is working fine for me/
No refreshing with mouse over viewport and No crashing with Lightmix???
max 2017/Win 10/

Here also no problems like the described above

Problem with IR/- as mentioned earlier....
IR constantly refreshing if mouse cursor not on the VFB and somewhere else on viewport////
After unhiding and selecting all object's in scene the problem is gone for some times////
If work with /render hidden/ option and some hidden objects in viewport---- -IR constantly refreshing if mouse cursor situated on viewport or somewhere else and not on VFB///
DB jan2 2018/max2017
It's happened in all scenes/

I tried that with a few Scenes, no probleme here with or without Hidden objects in the view or outer the view.
3ds Max 2018 with Corona 2.1.2018 here.

maxstart,max is generally a template file. You setup unit settings gamma settings and maybe viewports bla bla, then use that empty file as startup template.

just upgraded from RC5 to RC9 and I am experiencing scene hangs.  When i select my scenes corona camera for instance, there is a 10 second hang before I can edit it.  The IR is not as responsive + all around more slower interface and a few hangs.
I am using Max 2016

I had something silmilar after i updated from RC8 to RC9 on Max 2018.

In case that anyone has problems like these and saved a maxstart.max scene try to delete
the maxstart.max scene in the scene directory - for me this was the solution for the hangs and
camera problems.

if you are under W7,W8 or W10 You can try:

1. Setup your max Environment as you need it and save a Scene in the standard Scene Dir, name it maxstart.max

2. Setup the rights from the used directorys correct that max can fully write here

C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\YOURMAXVERSION\ENU

3. Uninstall Max and Reinstall Max with Adminrights

The Last Tip (3) has worked for me

I did a small update to fix error message on 3dsmax start, when the default production renderer is not set to Corona.
In this case, you'll have your rendering settings automatically saved in PreviousRndrStngs.rps preset, then it will switch production renderer to Corona and load tweaker.

Also, updated Batch Material Editor to latest version.

How to install:
Extract zip to your 3dsmax scripts folder, drag&drop "register_Corona_Tweaks.ms" file to any 3dsmax  viewport, then Customize -> Customize user interface -> Toolbars -> Corona Renderer -> drag and drop "Corona Renderer tweaker" button to your toolbar.

do not forget to update your version marker )

it shows 1.51 also after update, just a reminder ....

I am not sure if posting the build outside of the beta forum would violate the NDA. But that is not an issue, since nobody outside of the betatest has access to the beta build of max anyway, right? ;)

Hm i don't know this for sure, from your perspective of view (you as a plugin developer) you should be able to develope and test with beta testerns your plugin on new builds
from the Main Software, but to be sure it's better to ask in the AD Forum :)

CPU Clock is not correctly reported from Windows, the correct Clock is 4.7Ghz
