[Max] I need help! / Re: Daily builds
« on: 2015-02-20, 21:41:06 »
I would say little inconvenience rather than bug, but I think it would be nice to have ability to control exposure as it is possible in 7.2. Ill ask developers directly if it's permanent or not.

thank You :)

Thank You Pokoy for your reply.

Yes it is a daily build and yes I do have camera mod applied...Now I know it locks VFB (why is that BTW?) But now  I control exposure using interactive rendering, seems like good solution for now.

I should be more precise. I don't know if it's a bug inside pre 1.0 version but I can't control exposure manually during rendering as I used to in 7.2. Do you have the same problem?

Maybe I'm doing something wrong but is this normal that I can't control exposure in real time during rendering as I did in 7.2?

Hi guys

Simple question: exactly which files should I download to get the latest version? Only the latest, or all of them?

Thanks in advance

Very good modelling skills and I loved the black distressed paint texture. Could you share your settings as well?

hello nacho_grande

The mats are as simple as possible, nothing fancy at  all.

cheers

Hello Jeff

Great level as always. I prefer Jeff's original renders to Jeff's + MBUSA retouchers renders but anyway, stunning job.

Nice models and renders :)
The wire is made from a spline hand modeled? or is it "simulated" somehow ?

Hi daniel266

I didn't use any splines during modeling except cables and main lines ofcourse, all poly modeled. I'll post some wires later if You want.

thanks

Hello again guys!

This time I'd like to share few renders of pendant lamps by Italian manufacturer Toscot.
Just in case You ask...I used only photos as reference, thats why these are not perfectly identical to the original lamps, but quite close I guess? (80%, 85%? ;))
Hope You enjoy it!

as always, C&C are warmly welcome

regards
TH

PS: You can see originals on manufacurer's website.

Thank you guys for all kind words, I'm glad You like it and I appreciate your opinion.

Really nice images and amazing modeling work. I never pay enough attention to the fact that all edges chamfered as you did it was as important to have realistic renders as yours... I know now, thank you!
And happy new year to all !

I'm glad I could be helpfull ;)
I almost forgot....Happy new year to You and All corona people  :)

THX for the wire pictures. fantastic work , the bricks are the good size but it was ment that the size in oposite direction in longer one is not correct , is too long to it´s width. Can i ask how you make the bricks? texture with displacement? THX.

I agree with You. The brick arrangement is not accurate but since these bricks are just slices of original whole bricks I can live with that :) I used texture + displacement to create brick wall by the way.

Excellent work, really nice and vivid lighting, too.
The only thing that looks a bit off is the scanling of the bricks, they could be slightly smaller imo.

Fantastic work!!

pokoy.... I had the same feeling but I tried to be as much precise as it's possible. The bricks are real world size (pre WW2 27 × 13 × 6 cm size) and unfortunately there's nothing I can do about it now ;)

Great pictures! I like it how such simple models turned out so realistic. This is something I would love to learn...

Simple models Are You serious? I spent hours on modeling and You tell me they are simple? ;P But seriously, thank You for Your reply.....you'r way too polite :)
