[Max] Resolved Bugs / Corona scatter not updating on render

hey!
The scatter does not update when I am rendering a frame range, it just stays locked at the frame I am currently at in the timeline. I am using a animated noise map in the scale transform.

Is there a quick solution to this :) ?

Hello guys .
I wanted to share some of the latest work that i`ve been doing. Its for the main sponser of this film:

The car tranformations are not featured in the actual film but used separately, only in the sponsor commercials. hope u like them :)
Corona was used on all the transformations.

[Max] I need help! / Shadow cather and log footage

Hey guys! I was wondering how you work with log footage? Say you have footage that you want to composit with a 3d model and the footage is in log,
do you convert the raw log file to something like scene linear or to rec 709? This is mostly related to background for the shadow catcher material
since I guess its strange to render that in log. Hoping someone can shed some light on this topic. Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know how to get the lights included in the alpha  with ShadowCatcherMtl, when rendering with  alpha mode: For composting ? or is it not supported yet?

Hey just wanted to share some stills from a job i did last week, nothing fancy;)4 days of work,  used rebus farm, and the ability to sett max pass and max renderpoints(cost) workes great so far. Renderd in progressive mode. the magazine rendered 300 passes and the wrap was 150 passes max per frame. I did have some issues with displacment on the vegetables in the wrap , it was made from just a plane with material displacment and translucency + shell and flex modifier.( didn`t have time to model it:) and the displacment had some kind of popping effect. I Managed to fix this in post, but i had no idea why it was happening, if anyone know pleas tell:D

First test renders with subsurface scattering. The sculptures need some more work, but the sss is great !

I am having issues rendering with the animation time offset function in forestpack,they do not offset. not supported yet?  and why is vertex animated motionblur possible for 15 frames before the error message appears?

the bw render is scanline with time offset visible, the color render is with vertex/geo motionblur and no visible time offset in corona while rendering .
hope someone understands the question?:)

Hello!

Had the chance to use corona on some renders at work.
These are some images from the release of our ale:)this was embeded with the invitation to our party. so just for fun.

Its a short trailer based on the Man of steel trailer:)
its alot of images from the trailer that i do not take credit for of course, only the rendering of the bottle.

Resolution 1080 with crop, rendertime from 2 - 6 min per frame,  dof in nuke. it took a couple of days to create so a fast jobb, just for fun.

The Corona render is great!


I was wondering if anyone have done a nuke composit of all the regular render elements, could anyone be so kind to share som examples of how you whould composite a beauty render, for example in nuke?( Just a screen grab maybe)
