still getting crazy render times when using complex scenes at 1080p resolution and fireflies only go away with heavy denoising and the ai denoisers seem to work not as good which is a shame cause they work much better than corona HQ denoiser for regular non caustics scenes

after doing more testing the NVidia AI denoiser is kicking some butt and might even be as good as HQ not sure if corona team or NVidia have made some improvements but still caustics solver is still talking some much extra time to render frame out

just did some more testing but corona is very bad with water and bubbles in fountain it renders all blurry and jagged edges can barley see the bubbles inside water vray has no problem and renders 4 times faster

i did more testing and discovered bubbles in vray and corona have to have fresnel ior to 2 and not 1.01 like refraction setting

when the caustics solver is enabled it seems to blur and hide the bubbles unless you go crazy on the frame resolution and do many many passes i will test further as my animation might have to be done in vray as it produces frames 5 times faster with cleaner and easier to see bubbles minus the gorgeous corona caustics that seem to need a super computer to do animations with!

caustics make bobble slightly harder to see even with nvidia ai denoiser and HQ denoiser also after some testing bigger frame resolution did not work to help blurriness

I will use vray for now

as bubbles are look very sexy and almost look so real it looks like photo!!!!
