Hi not bad but some dappled light would help a lot in the foreground...
Some variation in the greens would also be nice.

Thanks, wrote an email to the dev too.
Will post it here if there is a way to bypass it.

General CG Discussion / bercon tiles
« on: 2019-02-17, 01:28:48 »
Hi,

When I prepare my shaders for further use I often link certain parameters with float controllers in 3ds max.
However could not figure it out how to link the pattern option across multiple bercon tiles map.
Is there a way to solve this issue?

Thanks,

You are looking towards the wrong direction.
What you are searching for is entertainment and consistency.
If you grab a cheap camera and make a photo it will be 100% photorealistic.
Will it create enough attention to sell "anything" well? don't think so...

Be more careful how you place the shots after each other.
In almost all shots the camera moves in the opposite direction than the one before it and its killing the flow.
Otherwise a bit more atmosphere (bloom) would work well.

Are you sure this belongs to the Gallery of finished works?
I would rather post it to WIP or Learners corner...

Nice attempt to recreate the scene but remember... less is more.
I'm talking about the styling here.

Nice fresh white mood and clean looking interior.
What lighting and tonemapping were you using for this render?

Hi,

The scene has potential in it but you really ruin it with the toilet/bidet in the foreground.
In a decent bathroom things like this cant really happen.
Try a bench or a different furniture instead.
The ripple effect on the water reads too heavy as well.
Otherwise as I said this scene can work with a bit of care.

Hardware / Cheap machine for photoshop
« on: 2018-02-15, 13:16:49 »
Hi,

I want to build a cheap rig dedicated for postwork in photoshop.
I am wondering if anyone has any experience with the new AMD ryzen5 2400g CPU with the integrated graphics feature.

https://www.amd.com/en/products/apu/amd-ryzen-5-2400g

In this case, I would go for a system without a GPU so I can save a few hundred £.
What do you think about this?

Cheers,

I was using the global fog method but will try the box method you suggested.
Thank you,
