I love Corona.

Why?

- Very simple, straightforward workflow of this render engine, makes it possible to render photographic CG shots with minimum effort.
As in this case I was working on materials of this car with this basic scene setup (Corona sky & Sun&ConstantMtl on bg) and in a couple of hours I am sitting here in front of the monitor, amazed by the quick yet realistic result.

I've cranked up the render settings just for curiosity.

Here you go, the original resolution - raw output:

amazing again! do you have a tutorial on how you applied/combined the various rendered element outputs in photoshop? cos i would really like to see each one of their purposes and how they work to improve the overall image.

The truth? - they didn't help me much (except AO pass that connects the subject whole better to the ground), the point is to use 32 bit format output - it contains all the information you need.
The next step is you'r eye judgement of color correction process (but it's topic of it's own).

So no - the passes is just for show off, they just look COOL :)

I only used AO and Zdepth for post production.
