Faith. Since childhood, we have been taught that this is the last thing left when all is gone. Ancient people believed in Gods, trying to find an explanation for natural phenomena they did not understand. But the modern world has shown us that as society develops, the role of religion declines. With each new day, man begins to believe more and more in himself and his own strength, finally takes responsibility for his own life. Religion is more and more reduced to tradition.
But what happens when the world as we know it collapses? When every new day could be the last... When everything you used to live for simply ceases to exist.
Will a man be able not to doubt himself and endure all the trials? Or will he lose himself and become a part of a cult?
Understanding this is a long and hard road for one to travel. Alone against the world, alone with his demons.

STRANGER MINSK
26 years of dictatorship, injustice, and lies have awakened millions of people who came in to give their vote for a new president. For the first time in modern history, the Belarusian people believed in their decisive will. But the brutality and violence from the government ruled by the self-proclaimed president reaches an incredible magnitude. The authorities do not understand the main thing: people have changed and they can no further be deceived, their will can not be crushed. Together they unite to prove their worth once and for all not only to the whole world but most importantly to themselves. The incredible Belarusian people are yet to find themselves in the epicenter of a fierce battle for love, justice, and freedom, where good will inevitably triumph over evil.

As usual, you check twice not to forget something, grab a backpack, close the door, go down the stairs, leave the house and find yourself in total chaos. Streets, houses, people - everything here is intertwined into one continuous stream a part of which you unwittingly become. Mechanically, you walk along the well-known road past storefronts and signboards, old and new buildings, past cross-walks, pillars, garbage cans and countless various destinies that truly make this city alive. We have become complete captives of these roads and sidewalks, drowning in the everyday life routine and tangled in the web of our own thoughts. But sometimes to feel the city you just need to stop and look around. You take a moment and begin to notice what is hidden from other people's eyes, but is actually right in front of them. You begin to see into the soul of a city built on contrasts, with its own shades and unique character. And in these fractional seconds you really understand what this city means to you and what you become when you are there. Many thoughts and feelings, meetings and stories, relationships and love tie you to this place. And if you are comfortable in this chaos, which tries to completely absorb you day after day, then this is your city. It has accepted you and opened his soul to you, and in return you opened your own.

Seems like changing the idea during the working progress becomes quite common practice to me. And this project was no exception. I will definitely bring the initial idea to life someday. But none of that matters now. All in good time.
Thanks for inspiration to the Stephen King’s novels, KAWS artist, DARK series and the anticipation of the sequel of my favorite game The Last Of US.
...Our Stranger finds himself in some kind of a future, following his own way, a path to his goal. No one knows his intentions, and it doesn’t really matter. There is only a moment we are able to observe.
The world is not what it appears in his dreams about childhood. Succumbing to primitive instincts, human destroys what it once built, betrays what it once believed in, Nature fights back for what was stolen from her long ago, hiding human’s former values and memories under her mantle. The world is slowly fading.
Our Stranger finds its aesthetics and beauty in there, the hidden echoes of the past evoke pleasant and vague memories. An infinity-long moment. But it's time to move on...
The Stanger is on the way to face his destiny...
