Hej!

I am glad to present very cosy project which was inspired by Nordiska Kök kitchen manufacturer in Sweden. This is the style and aesthetics we love so much, so it was a big pleasure to work on. The set of images features a minimalistic wooden kitchen perfectly fitted into classical space. The main target for realism was of course soft lighting, oak kitchen fronts material and chevron flooring.

Big thanks goes to Cg-source for oak textures, Texture supply for chevron flooring scan and of course Corona renderer for providing such an amazing tool.

I would be thankful if you take your time to check full presentation on Behance and thumbs up if you like it.

Hey to all of you!

This is our studio's first project with 8th version of Corona. It took a few hours to get used to it but everything was flowless afterwards.

The post is a set of product rendering images of high-end marble bathtubs. We replicated some of the Moroccan, Tuscany and Alps mood. Hope you can feel it! If any questions - drop us a line.

I would be very glad if you took your time to follow some of my studio social media pages:

Hello, guys!

A few weeks ago I did the design and visualization project inspired by Boffi kitchen. The goal was not only to show my taste for design, visualisation and presentation, but to investigate how the proper presentation of 3D images can impact the whole project impression.

There are so many people around doing such a great visualisation work, but only a few of them present the images in a proper way. Dropping batch of images to the gallery or social doesn't look like a good idea for me. Those images will be lost between thousand other. People spend hours creating 3D image, but then give only 5 minutes to post it everywhere without any order or explanation. Why not tell the story behind it? Why not create a more meaningful presentation?

I always look at great artists and how they present their work and I couldn't find a painter who just glues his painting on the wall without proper frame. Or lighting. Or music. All these side arts create the impression
. So in the behance presentation, I tried to enhance the impression of minimalism. Let me know what you think about it.

How do you present your work? Do you have any tricks to use working with clients? :)

Thanks!

A project of one image. We were commissioned to do 3D visualisation of architecture start Daniel Libeskind project in Vilnius, Lithuania.

It was incredibly hard to take such a photo for matte painting, because this is one of the busiest streets in Vilnius Old City. So several hours of attempting and here we go :)

Corona slicer might be nice feature, but I doubt we would use that daily. To make 3D plan nice, you will need to spent time on in anyway, there is no shortcuts. So slicer can cut down need time for modeling, but only if it's reliable and works without bugs :)

Thanks for reply. Well noticed, however, I kept the model as it is on purpose. Imperfections looked more natural :) and, this was one day project, 7 hours from start to finish including behance presentation so no more corrections :)

So you used section plane cut in sketchup then doing the rest in 3dsmax, right?

Nope, we use more reliable way. We model two parts of walls, the one which is visible directly and the other which is hidden to camera. It can be done in whatever soft you want, but we found sketchup simpliest and faster way :)

Hi, Coronouts!

I am happy to share quick product visualisation project. This is non-commissioned project which I dreamed few nights back. The idea was so interesting that I couldn't resist visualising it. So, one day of work and it is a bubble speaker, which is extremely durable. You can throw it or you can get it wet, no matter, he will still play music.

All images and background were done exceptionally with Corona 3.0. I know, I know, time to move to 4th version :)

By the way, there is a full presentation in my Behance profile, which is more eye pleasing. https://www.behance.net/gallery/83398287/BUBBLE-SPEAKER I would be very happy to get your thumb up!
Thank you!

Long time no post in this thread, but decided to show some of our smaller projects again. Most of our work can not be shared, but we do lot of small projects, so I will try to catch myself and show something for community. Some of the shared projects will be WIPs, so community is welcome to comment it!

Meaning that, I will start sharing a progress of my biggest personal project. I am working on it for past 14 months. Sounds crazy, I know, but my work on that is very episodic, maybe few hours every two weeks or so. To be honest, this is a project where are rather chill than work.

Long story short, I love mountains. Few years back we relocated our office to small chalet in Switzerland Alps and lived there working for a while. Because why not, we are small team :) One evening I was hiking and found this beautiful place surrounded by Swiss cow bell sounds, fresh air and mountain silence. I couldn't resist on doing a project on that land plot. So that was the birth of idea.

Many old/medieval buildings in Switzerland are protected, so the only way to live there, is to keep original exterior look. This is how idea was born to create a villa where medieval and modern architecture comes together. Images to understand what I mean attached below. These are very early WIPs.

P.S. It would be nice if forum mods could drop this topic to WIP work forum.
Thanks

Maru,

Glad you liked it, thank you! Credits go to my wife, she is the one who creates them all :) We didn't animate them already, but there were some cases where we wanted different approach.
For example few months ago we were commissioned to create exterior/interior images and 3D plans as well for cottage project. The task was more or less the same posted above, however, all cottages had two stories. So to make it more attractive we matched ground and first floor so it has seamless switch.

Example below. And full project here: https://www.behance.net/gallery/83350739/3D-COTTAGE

Hi!

Recently we finished another project where client wanted us to create 3D Plans for apartments. Interesting thing we realized is that we already did ~1500 such images for various clients during past few years. It became part of our service scope and we have a dedicated person in our team, working only on these images full time. Expert of 3D plans! :)
Almost every real estate project developer wants to have such 3D plans, especially the ones, where apartments are sold. They say it helps to get more customer engagement and sell particular apartments.

We are using sketchup-3dsmax-corona workflow for this work. Being able to use it with Corona is extremely comfortable, since we can use same assets we use for interior images. It saves us lot's of time.
Before doing these images in Corona, we tried various software, such as sketchup+vray, 5D planner and etc. Those pipelines allowed us to get fast results, but then the quality was very questionable. And of course, in those situations when clients were more demanding, it was painful to export assets from 3dsmax corona to sketchup. So again, happy to have Corona even for those non-traditional projects!

I haven't looked at the set up here, but I do know that Particle Flow lets you add things like deflectors, to bounce particles off of, so that could be done. Also, it allows you to spawn new particles when a particle hits something, so you could also set it up that way, so that an original rain drop particle can trigger a "mini explosion" of smaller particles, so it could be done that way too. Now, whether that's contained in the setup, or was what was used in this scene, I can't say :) But it would be possible to set it up so that the particle flow took care of all of that!

Thanks! Exactly what I wanted to know! Particle Flow seems very promising, got to try it again :)

Thanks for sharing quick explanation of rain drops. However, I am still curious, does the described method adds the rains which are bouncing from table and terrace? Or it's another trick?
