« on: 2015-06-27, 02:04:23 »I often dream of a "bake" or "pre-comp" node (like in AE) for baking procedural textures to a bitmap right inside the Material Editor. That would be great. Of course you'd need UVs then.
You could switch almost every procedural in 3dsmax from object/world 3d space to UV space. Procedural size needs to be switched to something way under 1.0 because UV space is 0.0 - 1.0 to make it usable.
