Happy new year everyone!

First personal project for the year and I have combined two of the things I love for this image. Bouldering and rendering!

Made with Corona in 3ds Max.

Enjoy!

"In the Eastern Mediterranean coffee is always a ritual.
It is tied with ancient lore, legends and superstitions.
In the Eastern Mediterranean you don't have coffee on the go."

Hello all,

Here is my latest artwork, made with 3ds max, corona, and a bit of zbrush.

Thank you all!

I like the image a lot, but how did you do the ash in the bottom of the bowl?

Thank you very much cjwidd!

For the ash I started with one of the quixel decals and modified it  a bit.

Wandering the streets of Athens, one can still find traditional luthier shops that remain unchanged through the centuries.
Artists that form wood into unique instruments, using techniques passed down from one generation to the next.

Made with 3ds max and corona, this image is an effort to capture the essence of such a shop while avoiding to describe it literally.

Hello all,

These 'floating' monasteries, dating back to the 14th century, are build on top of Meteora, breathtaking rock formations near my home town in central Greece

Made with 3ds max, corona and a touch of photoshop

I had so much fun with this, especially modelling the clouds!

Thank you!

Hi all!

Here is my newest animated_idea, made with 3ds max, corona and a bit of AE.
The plant was animated with tyflow and the water is max fluid.
The toughest part was animating the watering can to look natural with my limited animation skills, but I'm quite happy with the result!

Best,

Hi all,

This is my first time posting here, although I've been a long time user of the forum :)
Here is a quick animation made in 3ds max with corona and a... push modifier!  I really love how it turned out!

You can also find me on Instagram where I will be posting more regularly

Enjoy!

Many thanks,

[Max] I need help! / corona round edges [SOLVED]
« on: 2019-02-04, 18:42:07 »
The Corona round edges map has never worked properly for me. Even from a distance the hard edge is totally visible and the effect looks like crap.
What am I doing wrong?

I see now
Thank you very much Frood!

Hi, I've been using corona for years, I cannot think of a way fuzzy regions could be useful. Can you provide an example of how they would be implemented in your workflow?

ps. I didn't thing this question deserves a new topic :)

14
Yes!! :)
So happy I contributed this tiny bit to my favorite product ever!

Keep it up guys!
