When using the interactive viewport, every time I press the 'STOP' button C4D crashes.
Have to do Task manager > force close application

This happens regardless of the scene objects involved.

How is the lighting setup?

Sun & sky or HDRI?

I struggle to not get the blown out/ over-exposed look from outside the windows.

Any help would be much apprechiated!?

[C4D] I need help! / Interior animation render
« on: 2021-07-11, 08:40:30 »
HI, I am having issues with setting up an interior scene for animation.

The camera will do a full 360 animation around the laptop on the desk to show the entire bedroom environment.
Ideally I want to have the background in C4D.
Is the correct method to apply this to the native background object?

The main issue is:-

I want to render the animation and composite the background in post.
I have set the render to PNG to get transparency but as you can see in attached images (PNG EXPORT + alpha) the glass is an odd shade of gray.

Also there is a lot of highlight burn around the dividers and frame of the windows.
I have my camera highlight compression set to 15.

What is the correct way to go about set this scene up for a 360 animation and be able to replace the background?

I have attached all details to this message, please let me know if you require any further information

[C4D] I need help! / Video projection on glass
« on: 2021-05-09, 05:50:42 »

I'm trying to create a video/ projection material on a glass cube tunnel.

The effect I want to achieve is similar to the reference attached.
The camera flies through a glass cubes tunnel which has multiple videos on 1 face of the glass cube.

I have tried using the self illumination channel in corona material and also a corona light material but can't get the right effect.

I want the video to have some opacity like a projection screen projected into glass.

Any ideas?
