I'll give it a shot right now, my machine is fairly fast (1950x) and I tried with values of 100 for each Bloom and Glare, and threshold .001, and no go... :(
Highlight Clamping is at 0.0 (Maru)
Sharpening/Blurring is working fine, I can see the difference between on and off clearly.

Hi Everyone.

I've been noticing occasionally the loss of functionality with the bloom/glare controls in corona. I just tried to have a brand new max scene open, importing a model and popping a corona sun with a corona sky in the env slot.

I can't get any flares, no matter how high I set the values for bloom&glare and how low the threshold.
Please see the values on the attachment, I can send a scene for analysis if needed (although this is most likely user error of too many hours in front of the screen :)

Hi all,

Does anyone know a way to assign the Corona VFB to a keyboard shortcut or a Quad-Menu link?
I find the regular process to be a bit fiddly with clicking render settings>scene tab>Show VFB
Has anyone got around this? I get nothing in the listener when I open the ShowVFB button to be able to make a small macro for it...

I closed the project manager window, got the error, and then wham, 3dsmax quitted on me.
It still happens every now and then, but I can't track it down to something specific yet, I will get back to you if I manage to track it.

Bumping this up again - When will we have Cryptomatte, or if it is compatible right off the bat, as Ondra stated, how do we use it? We have to wait for implementation? Looking forward to hear on this as matting is especially important for me.

Hi,

To my surprise, on top of a deadline, after playing about a bit with the Corona Image Editor, I decided to give CXR a shot to export and do some slight post of my Corona output and everything was working fine until all of a sudden there's no more alpha in CXR files Photoshop won't see the Alpha if I rename the CXR to EXR - Won't see it because apparently CXR keeps no alpha as it cannot be seen from the Corona Image Editor App.

- how can I access the alpha from saved CXR files? Would like to be able to not have to re-render and go back to using traditional EXRs.

PS: Edit, found it in the Largest EXR of them all - Sorted.

Hey Ondra, will this be integrated in Corona? It looks fairly straight forward, I always hated the matting part of the process :D

I've noticed that the latest RC 3 is acting up with the UV Mapping Randomization provided by RC's Instancing Engine - I thought that Corona 1.7 was bringing a modifier for this functionality, so I suppose Railclone's UV mapping randomization could start working properly while supporting instancing.

Anyone knows about this? Are we going to have it all this time? :)

Hi Ondra,

any news on Deep EXR Support for 1.7? Getting a clean DOF with nice highlights (with no over the top flickering) is still fairly difficult to get using regular z-depth and with DOF rendering as well (too long and very flickery for animation).

Kindly let us know where we're at with this.

Testing with Corona version 1.5.2 and FPP 4.4.1 - It happens as well that the viewport scatter turns to little orange crosses (unselectable though).
To re-select and edit the FPPs in the scene I can only work with the object selection dialog unfortunately.
Would be lovely to see this sorted (by either Itoo or you :)
