Hi Marcin,
I really appreciate all your attention and support and I apologize if I was sincere to the point of causing discomfort. I'm not belittling anyone's work and I know how hard they worked to get here. But unfortunately it's a fact and I'm trying to show that we can improve the SSS feature. Criticism is constructive and forces us to improve, and I would also like my point of view to be respected, which I think is very relevant. And honestly, I haven't heard from you until now that some parameters are missing and we're working to make them better. We users also put many hours of learning on top of a software, and when we come across limitations it is really frustrating. It's part of the game.
As I said, the SSS tab lacks some basic features that would make our life a lot easier. Already the SSS in the volumetric tab I believe to be something closer to reality. But I still found it slow and with a lot of noise in the render, already reported by others users. And when I say it's confusing, do you agree that it's weird to enable refraction to only deal with SSS in the volumetry tab?
Again, I'm sorry if I was a little harsh in the comments, but I think this kind of discussion is extremely important for the improvement of the software, which in my opinion, has a lot of hard work ahead.

Have a lovely day.
