Hi,

Would it be possible autosave doesn't stop IR ?

Regards.

Does autosave always interrupt IR for you or does it happen only in heavier scenes?

Bump!

A better description would be nice. Is this about 3ds Max autosave, or about the Corona's CXR autosave?

3ds Max's autosave, in case of heavy scene, autosave relaunchs IR.

+1 to this one, working on a few big scenes that have large Xrefs - so the autosave itself is really quick, but then IR takes an age to restart.

Perhaps a button in advance settings to disable autosave whilst IR is running (if possible?) - have tried different Autosave Maxscripts but have never found one that I like, and this is the only time I want to disable it!

Yepp. Best 'autosave script' is training: switch it off completely! You get really fast used to pressing CTRL+S when you finished a reasonable amount of work or any step of importance. I had it a hundred times after a crash where I thought that all is lost - but bio-autosave worked :) If the you-know-who-company someday would be able to code a save in background like for example photoshop has it, I will maybe change my mind.

Good Luck

Never underestimate the power of a well placed level one spell.

I thought it was just me!  I’ve actually lost significantly less work and lowered my IR related frustration since turning off autosave and training myself to save intelligently.  I would occasionally get crashes while using IR and autosave which really added insult to injury :)

Sorry to distract from the feature request...
