when i saw the first one on trello was like wooooohoo , then it got dumped to the left :(

Yeah it seems a few of the features previously listed have been removed from this release. Including, as i mentioned above, the PBR shader. But im still looking forward to seeing what improvements have been made on the stuff thats still listed.

it would be too risky to include now, because there is not enough time to test. The memory savings will be released in daily builds of v5 early on
Rendering is magic.How to get minidumps for crashed/frozen 3ds Max | Sorry for short replies, brief responses = more time to develop Corona ;)

I love fisheye projection implementation, but could you unlock FOV spinner in photographic parameters rollout, so we can adjust viewport representation more conveniently?

  • Environment direct visibility, reflections and refractions overrides were moved to the new advanced setup mode

But why??? Now, it's horribly inconvenient :[

Hello!
I'm using this script to batch-render scenes in corona 3, and it doesn't work with corona 4 daily builds.
Can't figure out - if it is my mistakes or script needs to be rewritten?

And, there is a thing I hope can be fixed for release version.
If my network storage computer is restarted rendering hangs.
Can there be a checkbox to locally store assets during rendering process?

What exactly does not work? It looks like the script just loads max files and executes a max quick render. It's like loading a scene manually and pressing "render", nothing more. There is no reference to corona or any other specific renderer.

i guess it is possible. we have it in max vfb but why it isnt there in cie.
this is the time to add a feature request about this.

This is expected. From the May 10 build changelog:

  • Corona Proxy has lower consumption of memory when keep in RAM is disabled
    • Disabling “keep in RAM” option also disables full mesh visualization
